Four Hands Massage Journey

We welcome you to say yes to a truly unique and nourishing shared experience of four-hand massage (two therapists per guest) accompanied by the guidance of words and music to deepen your journey followed by a shamanic guided meditation.

This mind-body nourishing experience has been created to enable you to work with any intentions that may be present for you, to truly surrender into your body and to integrate the insights and guidance that may arise in the experience for you into your everyday life.

The Journey Flow

Intention   You are invited to work with an intention. Perhaps you want to welcome something in? Or maybe it’s about letting go? Maybe it's a word or a feeling or perhaps there is nothing at all?  Whatever is alive in you can share with your massage therapist team and together you will explore bringing this intention into your body as part of the massage journey.

Four Hands Massage    This will take place in a shared space with other guests, and their intuitive massage teams. We all share the journey together. Starting with a moment of stillness, taking a few breaths and arriving in fully into the present moment. We are then guided through a wave-like experience via specially-curated music and guidance from our Master of Ceremonies, Bart van Meeteren.

Allow your body to surrender, dance and let go. Hold your intention in your heart and be open to whatever comes.    With four hands massaging you, and each part of the musical journey rich in different qualities, this will be an experience you’re unlikely to forget! The massage will flow back to stillness and grounding. Then your therapeutic team will bring you back into the space, and connect with you once the wave is complete.

Guided Meditation following some tea, and raw chocolate, we lead everyone through a guided healing process to enable everything to integrate and settle. There’ll also be an opportunity to share your experiences of the massage if you wish.

The intention of this healing is to allow you to feel empowered and gain insight and learning that you can take back with you out into the ‘real world. We finish the whole experience by giving you a self-care gift bag with all sorts of helpful things to support you on your healing journey.

About the team

Sophie ♥   Sophie Fagan is the founder of Embodied Empowerment. When it comes to facilitating body-mind practices, Sophie has a wealth of experience. With a foundation in holistic massage and Tai Chi she feels passionate about providing different ways for people to feel empowered in their bodies.

Sophie has been a massage therapist and teacher for 10 years -  Sophie Fagan - Holistic Massage Amsterdam NL. She also founded the Tai Chi school Amsterdam Chen Tai Chi & Chi Gong, which offers classes, workshops and retreats all year round.

Sophie loves nothing more than enabling people to try new ways to feel good in their bodies and minds ♥.

Bart ♥   Bart van Meeteren comes from a martial art background with 15 years of judo and 15 years of Tai Chi Chuan experience. He is deeply influenced by zen and tantra. Since 2013 he is a dedicated member of the team at Ecstatic Dance Utrecht in which he finds a wonderfully free and expressive complement to the slow and controlled movements in Tai Chi. After making the inner journey of Ecstatic so many times he now loves to guide others into deeper intimacy with the self and the body. His approach is gentle and kind. Open exploration, awareness and authenticity are his signatures.

Bart is a Tai Chi teacher at SlowMotions T'ai Chi in Utrecht and Ecstatic Dance facilitator at Ecstatic Dance Utrecht.

About the location  Scouting Sarto is a wonderful venue situated right on the water on Sloterplas not far from the sailing school. As it is tucked away amongst the trees it is good to allow extra time for you to find us. Please call Sophie - on 0627356429 if you need assistance.
