The Great turning towards Life - Summer Solstice Gathering

During this evening we’ll hold a nurturing space in which you can explore where you are called to in this Great Turning, honouring your unique longings & gifts and deepening your contributions. This vibrant time of year invites us to rise fully into who we are, who we are becoming and what wants to be born through us.  Our intention during this evening is to offer a space for support, celebration & inspiration as well as community sharing to nourish and empower us as we move forth into the Great Turning.

I have been facilitating mindfulness trainings and individual coaching journeys for 8 years, guiding others to awaken to and engage with the fullness of each moment whilst embodying that as best as I can. As a mother and a nature lover feeling rising concern around the social & ecological crisis, I was missing however a more engaged form of mindfulness. In the last years I discovered deep ecology and have been exploring more life sustaining ways forward. It feels like the beginning of a life-long journey:)  

Since last fall, I have begun co-hosting workshops and retreats in The Work that Reconnects from Joanna Macy, a deep work that encompasses all these dimensions of mindfulness, nature connection, meaningful community as well as engagement in service of Life. It is a real honour to be able to share this beautiful body of work around me and witness the magic it brings forth.  

This work was passed on to me during a Work that Reconnects facilitator training in the fall of 2021 by Roseaux Dansants & Transalquimia; two organizations that continue the Work in the same line as its root teacher, Joanna Macy.

I’m is an expert in transformation. Facilitating people, groups and organizations that are going through or aiming to realize transformation. I’m also a lecturer and inspirational speaker on leading and facilitating transformation.  

I’m deeply engaged in the questions of this era, studying the deeper laws that determine the (im)possibilities of changes to emerge. I feel urged to share and facilitate these insights when I imagine the future of my two girls and all who come after them.  

I derive my experience from the processes I facilitated and an ongoing longing to study life, wisdom traditions, deep ecology and transformation. Originally I was educated in Business Administration and worked as a Leadership and Change Consultant before starting my own company (2011) and journey with my teacher who was a pioneer and transformation expert, Michaël Derkse (1953 – 2020).
