Holistic Chef - Tarot Reader

Nicoletta founded her cooking school (La Cucina del Sole) in Amsterdam in 2002. Since then, her kitchen has become a reference point in the field of (Italian) cooking and culinary expertise.

Her culinary skill derive part from her family traditions and part from several master classes she followed at the renowned “Gambero Rosso” cooking school in Rome, plus innumerable hours spent experimenting with old and new recipes in her professional kitchen.

During her lessons she focuses on mindfully cooking quick, stress-free and healthy meals (for one or more eaters) that are also comforting, delicious and inexpensive. Her students also learn how to use left-overs like boiled potatoes to create tasty dishes, how to make variations on the basic recipes, tips and tricks on simplifying their cooking and thus their life and what to always have in their pantry for quick, healthy and satisfying meals.

Her culinary passions are the classic Italian cuisine, the healthy cuisine and the international cuisine. Her very favourites are the healthy, the vegetarian and the vegan cuisine: lots of delicious dishes prepared with fantasy, taste and plenty of plant-based ingredients. The use of healthy-improving herbs for cooking and tea-making is also one of her specialties.

Nicoletta is considered a culinary expert and she’s regularly asked for advice by the Consumentenbond (Dutch Consumers’ Union), TV programmes like Kassa! (Vara), “De smaakpolitie” (SBS6), “Herrie in de keuken” (RTL4) and “Huisje Boompje Beestje” (NTR), radio programmes such as “Dichtbij Nederland” (Radio 5), “Winfrieds Woonkamer” (NTR) and June tot twaalf (NH Radio), newspapers and blogs (Metro, Parool, SpecialBite, Koken Blogo, Sjakes.com…) and magazines (De Smaak van Italie, Foodies, Delicious, Italie Magazine...).

In 2004, Nicoletta Tavella opened her own professional tarot studio in Amsterdam. She studied tarot and numerology with Christopher Beaver in Telluride-Colorado in 2004 and 2006. For the past 25 years, she has also mastered Cherokee Shamanism and coaching techniques.
